A Glimpse into the Journey

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Now, don't get me wrong. I really enjoy the rain, but I want to stay home and watch a movie or read a book, not go out in the rain and get soaked. I really feel for Southern Missouri and Illinois right now. I know they must really be wondering when it might end.

This week has been a catch up week. One night was a catch up on rest kind of night and last night was catch up on errands night. I really should have reversed them because I got soaked last night but oh well.

This past weekend was "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner!" It was the first time we have done that here and it sounds like everyone had alot of fun. There were a few snafues but overall we got it worked out.

This weekend my dad is coming to visit. I keep trying to think of projects we can tackle! I'm sure he will be thrilled. I also am planning out where we will dine throughout the weekend!
